Naples, Italy and the bay. This photo is bad due to the smoke from Mt. Vesuvius. The lava bed and the cone from which smoke, steam and fire was issuing. Mt. Vesuvius near Naples, Italy. This photo was taken from the edge of the crater about forty feet above the lava bed and about two city blocks from the cone.
