The chart will be based on the views of the record buyers, rather than the present record sales or record air– pl~ chart as at present. Weekly JOO people in the age group 15 to 24 will be interviewed and their favourites will be the format from which the new Top 20 chart emerges. The show will be presented by Nicky Borne, Gary Crowley and Lesley-Ann Jones and bae a twenty-three week run. Lets hope RTE will introduce such a format when RTE Radio 2 presents its 24-hour D.On-etop broadcasting as and from November next.
