ON DISC: Tommy Hakem and partner Liam Clancy have recorded an album for RTE Records entitled 'Live' from the National Concert Hall. The album was recorded last February and features tracks from 'Dandelion Wine' to 'Four Green Fields'. During their 1983 tour over 50,000 people saw the duo live on stage. HOME AGAIN: Hard to believe that Rory Gallagher has sold over 15 million records and is currently working on album 13, which will be released next March. After a four year break Rory is back for a series of concerts in Dublin, Kilarney, Galway, Cork and Belfast from December 29th till 5th January, joined by Brendan 0 1 Neill and Gerry McAvoy. OLD HOST Three former Horslips members have decided to unite to bring us Host. They issue without much success a single 'Walk on Love' and an album 1 Tryal 1 is to follow. I wish the old faces remained in retirement. The music scene is littered with old names - Dixies, Freshmen, New Blues, etc. while aspiring newcomers are forced off the road.
