On the 3rd July the Glenties Feis, held in the Highlands Hotel, drew big entries . Sympathy is extended to the family of Jim Campbell of Ardara who was adjudicator at the Feis, who died recently . The Feis was organised by Mrs . Marie Cannon, dancing teacher. Another big night in Glenties was Canon Kerr's Golden Jubilee concert, held in St. Dominic's Hall. The Golden Jubilee committee made presentations t o the Very Rev' Cannon Kerr, and entertainers such as the Banner-Cannon dancers, Mr. Rafferty's Choir, C. '1/a:rd and ' .is band and many more made the night enjoyable. ·,er' were big changes in the Glenties parish r er:,;rtl y. We had to part with our three good priests who we~liked by everybody. Fr. Greene moved to Gweedor··.e Very Rev. Cannon Kerr, Golan, and Fr. Pat McHugh tv America.
