Doire Na Mainsear In the Doire 'pa Mainsear notes of last August "The Rock" named mallaigh Eoghain as a notorious Black Spot, and earlier brought it to the notice ot Donegal Co. Council. During the month of November mallaigh Eoghain saw its most serious accident to date. Luckily, no one was injured but the County Council were prompted to move at long last and it must be said that they made a damn good job. So let's hope that for those who drive Doire na Mainsear will be a safer place. The May notes advised the householders from Loch na nDeoran to Doire na Mainsear to witho1d water rates due to Donegal County Council because of the poor quality water supplY• This idea was taken up, and within months Maire Geoghagan-Quinn promised (or granted) that new pipes will be laid - come next Spring. Madgie Eoin came home for a fortnight's hol~day's last August and she is still with us. She maintains that she fell in love with the loneliness. Come to think of it she wont now have to come home for her annual Christmas holidays. Ann Marie is so safety-minded that . she travels with an insurance agent. But it doesn 1 t ffwayi work out, Here's hoping that "Guth 7 Tuairim wil continue to be published in 1981.
